Free 97.5 Fanatic Fantasy Fest Set For Saturday

Philly sports radio station 97.5 The Fanatic presents the Fanatic Fantasy Fest at XFINITY Live! Saturday, August 16 to kick off the upcoming football season. The largest party of the year will have a number of celebrity guests, large prizes and other entertainment for all 18 and older.

Guest Celebrities including former Eagles safety Brian Dawkins, former Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski will both be in attendance, along with NBC 10’s Sheena Parveen and Philadelphia 76ers sideline reporter Molly Sullivan. For the fantasy football fans, ESPN’s Eric Karabell will give a Fantasy Football talk during the festivities.

The first 500 patrons to enter the doors at Fantasy Fest will have a chance to win $50,000. Fans will be able to register to win a 2014 Harley Davidson Soft Tail Slim motorcycle during the event. Traditional prizes will be given out throughout the day, including Flyers season tickets, autographed items by Claude Giroux, Wayne Simmonds, Steve Mason and Matt Read; Sixers Season tickets including a pair of tickets to Media Day.

Local bands, Foxtrot & The Let Down and Rivers Monroe will be performing on the outdoor Live! concert stage throughout the day.

About Dan Cirucci

Cirucci served as Associate Executive Director of the Philadelphia Bar Association for nearly 30 years. He served as Chair of Penn State University's Professional Advisory Board for the Corporate Communication major at Penn State Abington and on the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Judicial Selection Commission.

He received his MA degree from Rowan University and his BA from Villanova University. He has been named a Distinguished Alumnus of Rowan's public relations program and received the E. A. "Wally" Richter Leadership Award, the highest honor from the National Association of Bar Executives' Communications Section. He has also been honored by numerous other local, state and national groups.

In his hometown of Camden, Cirucci taught fifth grade at the Ulysses Wiggins Elementary School named for the founder of the Camden NAACP. There he was one of the first teachers in the country to teach African-American history to inner city students. He later served as editor of a local weekly newspaper, as Assistant to the Township Manager of Cherry Hill Township and as Associate Director of Communications at the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Cirucci's passions include politics, the popular culture, books and authors, art, communication, music, theatre, movies, dining and travel.
