Do AC Wine Promenade Debuts 9/27 On B'walk!

The DO AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade, makes its fall debut this year on the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28 (noon- 5:00 p.m. both days). The FOOD & WINE sponsored celebration of viniculture and AC's thriving, world-class culinary scene features more than 100 wines and drinks presented at multiple event destinations along a one-mile stretch of Atlantic City's famed wooden way.

With scrumptious food and wine pairings, special seminars held by wine experts and live performances by popular bands, the early fall outdoor wine stroll allows guests to enjoy a taste of the bounty available in Atlantic City all year round while taking in the gorgeous ocean views and milder temperatures of the Jersey Shore in autumn. Ticket prices are $65 per person for Saturday, September 27, and $55 per person for Sunday, September 28. VIP tickets are $85 per person for Saturday, September 27, and $70 for Sunday, September 28. VIP benefits include access to all Vino Academy wine seminars, early entry (11:00 a.m.) with "Insider Track" sipping tips hosted by Leslie Sbrocco and FOOD & WINE magazine's associate wine editor Megan Krigbaum at the Food and Wine Plaza.

Throughout the weekend, guests enjoy insider access to new vintages, rare and expensive wines and Champagnes curated by the bubbly Leslie Sbrocco, renowned wine expert and media personality, plus gourmet bites and nine specially designed wine-focused destinations along the Boardwalk:

·         Bubble Lounge: With a hip nightlife theme brought to life by DJ Nigel Richards, this lounge features exclusively Moët & Chandon's Champagnes and special treats from Trump Taj Mahal's Robert's Steakhouse. (Etude Atlantis at California Avenue and the Boardwalk)

·         Sun & Sea: Boasting a nautical theme this pavilion features specially curated wines hailing from exotic locales as well as Jersey Shore favorite boardwalk treat Johnson's Popcorn. (Texas Avenue and the Boardwalk).

·         Vino Academy: This VIP area takes visitors on an around-the-world class in the glass showcasing sips from California to Washington, Italy to Spain and New Zealand to Australia with delicious Wine Workshops. (Bellevue Avenue and the Boardwalk)

·         Hard Rock Cafe Atlantic City Food & Wine Exhibit: The Hard Rock Café rocks the Boardwalk with some of their best new menu items and Rock Shop merchandise. (Trump Taj Mahal)

·         Food and Wine Plaza: Enjoy live music and meet and greet FOOD & WINE associate editor Megan Krigbaum, who will be pairing tastes of high-end California wines with dishes from Food Network star Guy Fieri's Chop House - at Bally's Atlantic City. A second destination takes wine lovers on a Walk Around the Wine World with show-stopping global selections ranging from Italian Super Tuscans to southern hemisphere super-star bottles. ·         NJ Fresh: Featuring wines and culinary fare from the Garden State that includes bites from the Atlantic City Bottle Company. (Between Mississippi and Columbia avenues on Boardwalk)

·         Bourbons and Big Reds: Enjoy small batch Bourbons, a roundup of supple, sultry big red wines, gourmet bites from Harry's Oyster Bar at Bally's and live music in this party themed pavilion. (Bally's)

·         Artwalk: Visitors won't find wine here but will see beautiful, unique works of art available for purchase or simply to enjoy. (Bally's at the Boardwalk)

·         Chill, Sit and Sip: At this spa-themed event visitors enjoy whimsical wines with designer labels, mini-sessions with local wine experts, a tasty bite from Trump Taj Mahal's Il Mulino restaurant and performances by the talented Atlantic City Ballet (Brighton Park, off the Boardwalk near the Claridge)

·         Come and GoVino at the Tropicana Gazebo welcomes wine lovers with a selection of unique wines ranging from juicy whites to international pinks, reds and sparkling wines with a twist.
