Central Park is beautiful every season of the year but it was particularly lovely this weekend as temperatures warmed but snow still covered the ground against a magnificent blue sky that showcased Manhattan's gleaming skyscrapers, including several new additions. |
The Central Park Boathouse, one of our favorite spots is always a great place for brunch and the view of the lake and the city beyond is enchanting! |
When you look at this photo (taken from our 29th floor hotel room) you can see why they call Broadway "the Great White Way." |
New York at night? It's absolutely bejeweled! |
At Lincoln's Center's Avery Fisher Hall (above and below) we enjoyed
Harry Connick, Jr. in concert - a sold-out event!
At The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts we enjoyed
Sinatra: An American Icon, an exhibition chronicling the life of Frank Sinatra
and including his trademark fedora (above) and Grammy Awards.
And then there was this added bonus on view: The barbershop chair, desk, easel and supplies that the legendary Al Hirschfeld used to create his iconic Broadway caricatures. All photos copyright 2014 by Dan Cirucci. |
