The Archdiocese of Philadelphia and Endow (Educating on the Nature and Dignity of Women) are pleased to present the 2016 Catholic Women’s Conference. The conference, “Mother of Mercy, Make Our Hearts Like Yours!” will welcome hundreds of women—married, single, and consecrated—from across the Greater Philadelphia region. This conference is an initiative of Catholic women from various parishes in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and will be co-hosted by the Archdiocese and Endow.
Saturday, October 29, 2016
8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa
654 Ferry Road
Doylestown, PA 18901 (Bucks County)
The conference will welcome 10 nationally-renowned speakers, including Mary Rice Hasson, J.D., director of the Catholic Women's Forum at the Ethics and Public Policy Center. Her topic will be “The Feminine Genius: Woman’s Mission of Mercy in the Family, the Church and the World.” Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. will celebrate the Opening Mass and Bishop John J. McIntyre will preside over the closing Divine Mercy Prayer Service.
This year’s event offers a diversity of tracks including English, Spanish, and American Sign Language as well as a Young Women’s Track for high school and college students.
The conference location, the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, has one of the six Holy Doors of Mercy in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Passage through one of these offers the opportunity to receive a Plenary Indulgence during this Jubilee Year of Mercy called for by Pope Francis.
Note: The conference is expected to sell out in early October at 1200 women. Advance registration is required and registering in September is highly encouraged. For more information or to register for the conference, please visit www.CatholicWomensConference.org.
