Oh, My! Quite An Impressive Gathering Ahead!

Building on its message of national unity and optimism that began during the 2016 elections, the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) – along with nearly 1,000 Republican women from across the nation -- will gather in Philadelphia for the organization’s 39th Biennial Convention. The convention is scheduled Sept. 14-17 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, 1201 Market St.

In addition to conducting organizational business, the NFRW will hear from Republican elected officials and leaders such as New Jersey Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, who secured the Republican nomination in the New Jersey gubernatorial race earlier this year, and Kentucky Treasurer Allison Ball, the nation’s youngest woman elected to statewide office.

Convention attendees will also participate in a series of training seminars, conducted by Republicans who are recognized nationally in their fields, that will help prepare them for grassroots victories in the elections coming up this fall and next year.

“Philadelphia is the bedrock upon which our great and unparalleled nation is built,” NFRW President Carrie Almond said. “I can think of no better place to reflect on our rich history while also exploring the opportunities we have to come together and make America great again.”

As additional speakers are confirmed, they will be posted on the convention website at

Founded in 1938, the National Federation of Republican Women is the largest and most influential Republican women’s group in the nation, proudly representing the party that first made it possible for women to vote in the U.S. The NFRW works to increase the effectiveness and relevance of women in the cause of good government. Our mission remains to recruit and elect Republican candidates, promote the principles of the Republican Party, educate the public and inform the media.
