This is both disheartening and depressing.
Instead of lecturing the rest of us about climate change and his other politically "correct" concerns, Pope Francis should get to work on cleaning up the Church and get back to speaking out on the horrors of abortion and the menace of growing secularism. And as for the American bishops, they should stop telling us that we are duty bound to welcome illegals and instead honor the law of the land while turning their attention inward, not leftward.
If Mother Angelica were still around, she'd rap all their knuckles, starting with Francis!
