New Jersey State Senator Kip Bateman (R-16) condemned an anti-Semitic flyer that was posted by an unknown person on the Peter J. Biondi Municipal Building in Hillsborough.
“New Jersey is one of the most diverse states in the nation, and we are stronger as a result,” said Bateman. “Our communities are filled with a rich tapestry of people who represent a variety of religious and spiritual beliefs and ethnic backgrounds from all over the world. All deserve to be respected and to feel safe here in the Garden State.”
“I know that the hateful flyer that was found in Hillsborough is not in any way representative of the community,” Bateman concluded. “I condemn the content of the flyer and the intolerance that led to its creation, and I stand with my Jewish brothers and sisters who only want the opportunity to live peaceful lives free of harassment.”
