To listen to most media reports you'd think that Obama was a veritable saint (and among the best presidents EVER!) while President Trump is an absolute scoundrel and abject failure. But that's not how most people view them -- no, not at all.
In fact, most voters aren’t swayed by former President Obama’s harsh words about his successor Donald Trump at last week’s Democratic National Convention. Perhaps that’s because voters are closely divided when asked which man has been a better president.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 49% of Likely U.S. Voters consider Obama a better president than Trump. But nearly as many (47%) disagree and say Trump’s been better. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
