Recent polls show Joe Biden's approval numbers slipping downward as he continues to get negative scores on several fronts.
It's not a good picture -- even as Big Media tries to make things seem as rosy as possible for the hapless, septuagenarian from Delaware. Here's a quick recap:
- Today's Rasmussen poll shows that a minority of likely voters (47%) approve of Biden's handling of the presidency while 51% (a majority) disapprove. Makes 'ya wonder how this guy got elected, doesn't it? But, there's more: the latest figures include 29% who strongly approve of the job Biden is doing but 42% who strongly disapprove. This gives him a presidential approval Index rating of -13. Not good! And remember: Rasmussen has consistently ranked among the most accurate of all the polls in taking the pulse of voters and predicting election outcomes.
- Rasmussen also reports that a whopping three quarters (75%) of likely US voters support voter ID feeling it's necessary to “a fair and secure election process.” That puts them in harmony with a key provision of the new Georgia election law and at odds with Biden, the Democrats, Coca-Cola, Delta, Major League Baseball and the woke crowd.
- Only 38% of likely voters feel the country is headed in the right direction under Biden.
- With Biden now seeking a tax hike to pay for his costly programs, Rasmussen finds that 64% (nearly two-thirds) of likely voters say they oppose increasing taxes. Most Americans surveyed feel they are already paying their "fair share" of taxes.
- And it's not just Rasmussen that's pointing to troubling signs for the president.A new poll by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research says 40% of Americans disapprove of Biden’s handling of children reaching the nation’s southern border without their parents, compared with just 24% who approve. That's a two-to-one "thumbs down" on that issue for Biden!
