Naked Bike Ride: Philly Route Released

The Philly Naked Bike Ride will start tomorrow (Sunday, September 5) with cyclists assembling at 5:30 PM at Lemon Hill in Fairmount Park.
From there the riders will head down Kelly Drive, around the Art Museum and out 19th St. to Rittenhouse Square. They will proceed around Rittenhouse Square, up 18th to Market St.and then down Market around City Hall and onto Market East to Fifth St. Then, it's up 5th St. (near Independence Hall) to Spring Garden, over to 3rd St. and up 3rd, across Girard Ave. and down and around 2nd, New Market and Poplar in a loop to the Piazza at Schmidt's. Those returning to Lemon Hill will go via Girard Ave. to 4th to Srping Garden and then repeat the first part of the trip to Lemon Hill.
Thousands are expected to participate in this second annual event designed to stress the importance of cycling instead driving and using fossil fuels.
