Right now -- and probably only for the next couple of days -- autumn is putting on a fantastic show here in the mid-Atlantic states.
The foliage is s vivid as we've ever seen it, with lush hues of red, rust, yellow, orange and fiery combinations of all those.
And the sky is as clear and spectacularly blue as you will ever see it.
The whole combination is nothing short of breathtaking.
But in just a few days it will be mostly gone.
With the sun and the blue sky, it's pure enchantment. We took these photos during a recent walk.
It ever-so-fleeting. Hurry on out. Don't miss it!
