Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Seamus P. McCaffery will be the guest speaker when The Brandeis Law Society of Philadelphia and the Jewish Graduate Student Network of Hillel of Greater Philadelphia present their 11th Annual Law Networking Event on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Duane Morris LLP, 30 S. 17th St.
The event gives Jewish law students, lawyers and judges the opportunity to meet and chat with one another. It includes remarks from prominent professionals and breakout sessions focusing on specific practice areas as well as a general session, refreshments and socializing. It has proven to be beneficial to countless lawyers making their way in the Philadelphia legal community.
Justice McCaffery received his Juris Doctorate from the Temple University School of Law in 1989. He has the unique distinction of having served as not only a lawyer and judge, but also as a law enforcement officer.
The Brandeis Law Society welcomes all of its members as well as other lawyers to this free event and advance registration is not necessary. The participation of experienced lawyers and judges is vital to the success of the evening. Participants will have an opportunity to sign up to mentor individual law students if they choose.?
