Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has decided to endorse Mitt Romney for President in advance of her state's primary election on Tuesday.
Brewer held out for quite awhile. She said she wanted to look at all the candidates very carefully. Brewer did that and now she's backing Romney.
Brewer says the key factor is Romney's astute business background.
“I think he’d serve Americans the best of all the candidates,” Brewer said just a few moments ago on NBC's Meet The Press.
This is a big "get" for Mitt Romney and gives him added momentum going into Thursday's key primaries in Arizona and Michigan.
Brewer is widely admired as a tough, non-nonsense, fearless leader who not only very popular in her home state but who has also gained national attention for her strong stands on a variety of issues.
