Same Sex Marriage Ban Wins Handily In NC

North Carolina voters today approved a proposed amendment to the state’s constitution which would limit marriage to traditional one man-one woman marriages. The amendment won handily as NC became the 32nd state to vote for a ban on same sex marriages. 38 states have laws prohibiting same-sex marriage.
By approving the amendment, North Carolina joins 28 other states that have state constitutional provisions limit marriage to man-woman unions.
