Yellowcard, 12 Stones, and Breathe Carolina will rock the USA 7’s Collegiate Rugby Championship (CRC) at PPL Park in Chester, PA, on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3.
With over two millions albums sold and counting, Yellowcard continues to dominate the music world, garnering fan support and critical acclaim alike. With eight singles that have received significant Top 40 and Alternative radio airplay including the smash “Ocean Avenue”, Yellowcard upholds their steady progression with their headlining slot on the 2012 Vans Warped Tour and are releasing a brand new album on Hopeless Records this summer. Their seventh studio album, When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes debuted on at #19 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums and top ten charts worldwide when it was released last Spring. Alternative Press hailed “When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes sounds like less of a comeback and more of a homecoming” and Absolutepunk proclaimed, “Yellowcard is back, and they're back for good.”
The Christian rock band 12 Stones hails from the suburbs of New Orleans, LA. Lead singer Paul McCoy received what many would call the highest honor in music, a Grammy for his contribution to the single “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence, which featured Paul’s writing and vocals. The band’s music has been featured in films such as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and The Scorpion King. They have also seen success in the sports world, landing theme songs for WWE’s The Nexus and the ACC Network’s College Basketball Championships. The band recently finished a tour with Saliva and a performance at one of the biggest rock concerts in the U.S., Rock On The Range. On May 22, 2012 Executive Music Group released the band’s fourth studio album, Beneath The Scars, which features the #1 singles Bulletproof and Worlds Collide. Denver’s Breathe Carolina - David Schmitt and Kyle Even – are enjoying continued success with their third full-length studio album Hell Is What You Make It as the first single “Blackout” climbs to #18 on the Top 40 Chart and was certified gold last week. Originally released by Fearless Records in July 2011, the band inked a deal with Columbia Records in December 2011 and is set to hit the road on a co-headlining tour of the US in April with The Ready Set and Ashland High opening. Schmitt and Even started making music together in 2007 after their earlier bands broke up and they found themselves housemates in the suburbs of Denver. After setting up a MySpace page and gaining a bit of notoriety, they signed to Rise Records to release their debut album It’s Classy, Not Classic (September 2008). This led to a year of non-stop touring and a new deal with Fearless Records for their sophomore album Hello Fascination. Released August 18th, 2009, the album debuted at #43 on the Billboard 200. In early 2011, the band began recording Hell Is What You Make It with producer Ian Kirkpatrick (Neon Trees, Plain White T’s).
