Charleston Farmers' Market: A Feast For The Senses!
The richness of the summer is best expressed in the bounty of fruits and vegetables that come to market.
And nowhere is this more evident than in the South where lush colors dazzle in the morning sun at the Charleston Farmers' Market on Marion Square.
Strawberries. Peaches. Ochre. Tomatoes. Peppers. Fresh flowers. And even colorful dog leashes (as dogs love the market as well) are offered along with crafts, candles, peanuts, candies, coffee, bakery treats and more.
These markets have sprung up in major cities and suburbs across the country and they provide us with an old-fashioned treat amidst the hurry of everyday life.
Get out and visit a weekend farmers' market in your area soon!
