Live Blogging The Tony Awards - Part 9

Now we have the musical version of A Christmas Story.
Hey, this singing and tap dancing is great and this cast is terrific. We love it!
We assume this show will be back this Christmas. We've putting it on our list. You bet!
Next will be a performance from Pippin.
But meanwhile, here's a commercial from Xfinity (Comcast) bashing Verizon FIOS. Frankly, we're tired of both of them. They both fleece their customers and we wish they'd just go away. They're frauds, we tell you: Frauds!
Okay, here somes Pippin.
Pippin brings an entire circus to life on the stage -- colorful, vibrant, dazzling. It's quite incredible. This is what Broadway is all about. Truly magical!
Now, the beautiful, statuesque Sigourney Weaver. She looks wonderful tonight.
But she's with New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg. What a pair this is. She looks so huge -- gigantic -- next to him. The contrast is startling.
And the award for Best Revival of a Play goes to Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?nWell, we're so glad we saw it while it was still running.
