This is what Chris Christie’s public life has become, Save Jerseyans.
Everyone on the planet loved him for a couple of years (save for a few New Jersey union-types and their Democrat henchmen). Now when he visits New Hampshire on a cool late July day to campaign in his capacity as RGA Chairman, he’s dodging barbs from his frenemies in the Democrat/media establishment AND the Republican Party’s tea party-ish defectors in the independent expenditure world who, ironically, hate him ever more than the liberals.
The Richard Jemmons character in Primary Colors said it best: “The media giveth, and go &%$# yourself.”
It ain’t pretty or clean but it’s entirely accurate…
