'Glamour Gal" Hollywood Novelist Dies

She was an undisputed glamour gal - a beautiful woman who consorted with the rich and famous.
And, no doubt about it -- she had good genes. The beauty ran in the family as her sister has been a glitterati socialite and star of TV and movies.
Jackie Collins, who wrote the best-seller Hollywood Wives is dead at 77 of breast cancer. She was the sister of Joan Collins.
He books were sexy, sensational and salacious.
She wrote 32 novels, all of which have appeared on The New York Times bestsellers list. In total, her books have sold over 500 million copies and have been translated into 40 languages. Eight of her novels have been adapted for the screen, either as films or television mini-series.
Collins, who held broth US and British citizenship Collins was the UK's fifth richest author with an estimated personal fortune of £60 million ($96 million).
