In the fall of 2016, Saints Simon and Jude School formed its first School Board of Limited Jurisdiction. Under this board’s guidance the “Little Explorers” program was developed. An event was held last school year and raised $84,000 to support the preschool startup costs. Mr. Peter Federico, Chair of the School Board and Mrs. Mary Kinka, preschool teacher, will be available to speak about the new program following the blessing. The new preschool program will welcome 37 students to its 3-year-old and 4-year-old classes for the fall 2017-2018 semester.
