Warsaw
The completely rebuilt old town of Warsaw is a modern miracle.
Totally reconstructed after the devastation of Work War II and meticulously recreated to the smallest detail, it is a walker's delight with many wondrous discoveries along the way.
We found scrumptious cafes, wide sidewalks, huge plazas and a sense of cleanliness, orderliness and public safety that would be the envy of any city. Polishing, scrubbing, cleaning and civic pride are the order of the day throughout Poland. What a joy!
Don't miss this delightful European treasure!
