A Critical Time For Catholic Voters . . .

The following is from catholicvote.org:

I had to share this story with you...

Last week while reporting in Rome, I was on my way to Mass just steps from St. Peter's Square.

As I turned down a side street I found myself face-to-face with the one-and-only Cardinal Raymond Burke.

I told him I was with CatholicVote and I how we proudly rallied tens of thousands of our readers to pray his Novena for the conclave.

His Eminence expressed appreciation for our organization and assured me of his prayers for Brian Burch’s appointment as Ambassador to the Holy See.

This is an extraordinary time for our Church. Pope Leo XIV is unifying the Church. The entire world tuned in to see who would lead the Catholic Church. Reports suggest even non-believers are expressing renewed interest in our Church and its teachings.

Imagine for a moment what a unified Church could do for America – and for the world!

Our work is focused on putting Catholic social teaching into action.

And right now our focus is on President Trump’s “big beautiful bill.”

Budgets? Really?

YES.

President Trump’s new budget blueprint deserves the support of every Catholic in America. Here’s just a snapshot of what he is proposing:

    • Eliminates funding from Planned Parenthood. Finally!
    • Bans federal funding of trans surgeries on vulnerable children.
    • Increases the child tax credit from $2,000 to $2,500 per child. And increases the standard deduction for families.
    • Makes permanent the tax cuts that led to massive wage gains among workers, and will allow the American economy to continue to grow.

Progressives have often said that budgets are moral documents. A budget that ends taxpayer funding of Big Abortion, uplifts families, and rewards parents for having children…is not only moral, but transformative.

Here’s where you come in…

We are asking every Catholic in America to use the CatholicVote Action Center to send a direct message to your member of Congress. Tell them we voted for Trump and we support his budget.

The bottom line is this: We’ve been celebrating an American pope.

And now it’s time to put this excitement into action.

This is the closest we’ve ever come to defunding Planned Parenthood!

While at the same time putting policies in place that help American families.

We can’t let this opportunity pass by.

CatholicVote has made it easy for you to send a pre-written message to your Congressman (or write your own!).

Tell your representative not to miss this opportunity to save babies, protect innocent children, and improve quality of life for millions of Americans.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the United States, pray for us!

Josh Mercer, President, CatholicVote
