More On Mothers Matter

An editorial from the Courier-Post:

CHEER: To Susan Rose of Cherry Hill, who honors her daughter each year in May by distributing gift baskets to mothers in need around South Jersey.
Rose's daughter, Lauren Rose Albert, was killed in a car accident in 1999. To remember her, Rose started the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation in 2001.
This year, through the foundation's Mothers Matter program, 2,500 gift baskets filled with shampoo, scented soaps, candles, perfumes and other items will be given to women at day cares, drug abuse counseling centers, domestic violence shelters, hospitals and other places where there are women in need.
It's an amazing thing that Rose has done, turning her desire to remember her daughter into something that helps so many people. She deserves a big cheer.
