From Flash News:
Odd days don’t come around too often, so why not make them count in a kooky way?
So says San Francisco-based school teacher Ron Gordon, who is calling for all oddballs to celebrate “Odd Day ” this Thursday (May 7).
Odd Day is a day when all the numbers in the date are odd numbers. But Gordan says having three consecutive numbers in the date – like 5 / 7 / 09 – is rare since the phenomena only occurs six times in a century.
So to celebrate this Thursday he suggests giving lots of high fives, rooting for an odds-on favorite at a sporting event, watching The Odd Couple or watching sea “odders” at the beach.
Gordan also plans on awarding the person who organizes the most people in “the oddest parade of odd characters” with $579 for cooking up such a fun, kooky idea.
