As many of you know, one way to defeat ObamaCare is to defund its implementation.
We have previously announced a three-pronged approach to stopping ObamaCare from taking effect: challenge it in the courts; pass state opt-out laws; defund it in Congress.
This approach is winning on many fronts. Pennsylvania's opt out law has made it out of committee and has a good chance of final passage.
Recent Federal Court decisions have left the Constitutionality of the ObamaCare in serious jeopardy. It's very apparent that the US House of Representatives of the 112th Congress will no longer fund it.
The question is, will they be brave enough to cut the billions that the Democratic controlled 111th Congress had previously appropriated to make sure the law would be implemented, known as the ObamaCare "slush fund"?
We should find out, today, as the House has an opportunity to cut last year's funding in a Continuing Resolution vote.
Please call 202.224.3121 or 202.225.3121 now and ask to be connected to the offices of the Republican House Leadership--Congressmen John Boehner, Eric Canter, Paul Ryan--and to your own representative below. Urge them all to completely defund the ObamaCare slush fund!
Tri-State Area Congressmen:
Delaware: John Carney
New Jersey: Rob Andrews, Chris Smith, Jon Runyan, Frank Lobiondo,
Frank Pallone, Rush Holt
Pennsylvania: Bob Brady, Chaka Fattah, Jim Gerlach, Pat Meehan, Mike Fitzpatrick, Lou Barletta, Charlie Dent, Joe Pitts, Tim Holden
If we are persistent, we will be victorious.
