Screen Actors Guild Nominations Announced

The Screen Actors Guild yesterday announced its 2013 nominations and three movies lead the way.

“Les Misérables,” “Lincoln” and “Silver Linings Playbook” each received four nominations, with “Argo,” “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” “The Sessions” and “Skyfall” getting two apiece.

For outstanding cast performance, the voters will choose from “Argo,” “Exotic Marigold,” “Les Miz,” “Lincoln” and “Silver Linings Playbook.”

For best actor, the nominees are Bradley Cooper (“Silver Linings Playbook”), Daniel Day-Lewis (“Lincoln”), John Hawkes (“The Sessions”), Hugh Jackman (“Les Misérables”) and Denzel Washington (“Flight”).

For best actress, the nominees are Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty”), Marion Cotillard (“Rust and Bone”), Jennifer Lawrence (“Silver Linings Playbook”), Helen Mirren (“Hitchcock”) and Naomi Watts (“The Impossible”).

In the supporting actor category, there’s Alan Arkin (“Argo”), Javier Bardem (“Skyfall”), Robert De Niro (“Silver Linings Playbook”), Philip Seymour Hoffman (“The Master”) and Tommy Lee Jones (“Lincoln”).

The supporting actress nominees are Sally Field (“Lincoln”), Anne Hathaway (“Les Misérables”), Helen Hunt (“The Sessions”), Nicole Kidman (“The Paperboy”) and Maggie Smith (“The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel”).
