Governor Chris Christie today released the following statement in celebration of Rosh Hashanah, the start of the Jewish New Year:
“The start of the High Holy Days is the perfect time to both reflect upon the experiences of the past year while also looking forward to the year to come. Here in New Jersey, we all benefit from a vibrant Jewish community that contributes so much to our cultural diversity. On this Rosh Hashanah, I send my best wishes for a happy and healthy new year to Jewish families across our state and the world. L’shana tova u’metukah.”
