Fedullo, of counsel to the firm of Rosen, Scafer & DiMeo LLP will serve as the Association's 87th Chancellor in 2014.

Philadelphia attorney William P. Fedullo will deliver inaugural remarks as the incoming Chancellor of the 13,000-member Philadelphia Bar Association at the Association’s Annual Meeting Luncheon tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 10) at 12:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt at The Bellevue, Broad and Walnut Streets.  More than 500 attorneys, judges and elected officials will be in attendance at the event, at which Fedullo will outline his 2014 agenda for the city's legal community.  Fedullo's remarks are expected to begin at approximately 1:00 p.m.

Fedullo is the 87th Chancellor in the 211-year history of the Philadelphia Bar Association – the oldest association of lawyers in the United States.  His one-year term as Chancellor begins on Jan. 1, 2014.

A native of South Philadelphia, Fedullo is counsel to the center city law firm of Rosen, Schafer & DiMeo LLP.  He practices in the areas of medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, products liability and auto personal injury.  He was elected Vice Chancellor of the Association in December 2011, serving in that position in 2012.  He currently serves as Chancellor-Elect.  He has twice served as Chair of the Association's Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention, as well as Chair of the Campaign for Qualified Judges.  He is also a former Chancellor of the Justinian Society.

Also taking place at the Annual Meeting Luncheon will be the presentation of the Justice William J. Brennan Jr. Distinguished Jurist Award to U.S. District Court Senior Judge Norma L. Shapiro, and the presentation of the PNC Achievement Award to Sayde J. Ladov, former Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our dear friend Sayde Ladov and to Judge Shapiro on their respective honors and we delight in the beginning of Bill Fedullo's year as Chancellor. Bill is a treasured compatriot and he is destined to be a great Chancellor. Indeed, tomorrow marks the beginning of a whole new era for the Philadelphia Bar Association. Avanti!
