Tickets to attend the highly-anticipated 2014 NCAA Men's Frozen Four at the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday, April 10 and Saturday, April 12, will go on sale on Friday, December 13 at 10 a.m. exclusively through ComcastTIX, online at ComcastTIX.com, by phone at 1-800-298-4200, or in person at Wells Fargo Center box office. Each package includes one ticket to the two semifinal games on Thursday, April 10, and one ticket to the national championship game on Saturday, April 12.
This year marks the first time that the tournament will be held in Philadelphia and only the second NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Championship held in the state of Pennsylvania, following the 2013 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
The Frozen Four is one the NCAA’s premier championships, bringing thousands of visitors nationwide. The Eastern College Athletic Conference will serve as the host institution for the 2014 tournament.
“The City of Philadelphia is thrilled to welcome the NCAA Frozen Four and its many fans to the City of Brotherly Love in 2014,” said Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter. “Kudos to all of the local partners involved in bringing this prestigious sporting event here.”
Fans are invited to attend the Frozen Fest at XFINITY Live! Philadelphia each day of the championship to experience interactive games, autograph sessions, and live music.
Wells Fargo Center has hosted a number of successful NCAA Tournament events, including the 2000 Women’s Final Four, the 2001 Division I Men’s Basketball East Regional, the 2006 Division I Men’s Basketball First and Second rounds, the 2009 NCAA Men’s Basketball First and Second rounds, the 2011 NCAA Wrestling Championships, and most recently the 2013 NCAA Men’s Basketball Second and Third rounds.
