Details: Philly Pro Police Rally, Saturday At 1 PM

Here is a very special message from the Independence Hall Foundation:

Dear Friends,

We are honored to report that United States Senator Pat Toomey and Sheriff Carolyn Bunny Welsh are the latest to confirm their attendance at the Delaware Valley Pro-Blue Rally on Independence Mall this Saturday from 1 to 2 PM.

They will be joined at the podium by "America's Mayor" Bob McMahon; noted businesswomen and healthcare advocate, Renee Amoore; WPHT talk show host (and our 2014 Patriot of the Year) Dom Giordano; educator, Armond James; State Representative Steve Barrar; Philadelphia FOP Lodge #5's  James Wheeler; Army veteran and homeless advocate,  Joe Eastman; Pastor, First Emmanuel Baptist Church,Todd Johnson; and bugler, Kevin Gruenfeld.

We ask you to bring only positive signs in support of our local police.  As well, please wear something blue.

Here's Another Way you Can Help!
We expect a good deal of media presence at the rally--and all of you know how they play the numbers game--usually to our detriment.

That is why it is so important for pro-blue supporters to turnout!

Please sign-up for the Rally on facebook by visiting:

As we have been experiencing unexplained interference on this site for several days--making it difficult for folks to sign up--we believe the problem has finally been resolved.

We would greatly appreciate it if you would sign up for the event and invite your Facebook friends to do the same.  Even if you cannot attend, it would be terrific if could help spread the word!

If you experience any difficulty on Facebook, please call us at 267-531-8169.

Traveling and Parking Tips
1.  Of course, you can access Independence Mall by using SEPTA'S Regional Rail, Subway, and Bus Service.  Call SEPTA @ 215.580.7800.

2.  You can park at the Allied Parking Lot on 7th Street near Market Street.
The cost is $7 on Saturdays and Sundays.

3.  There's off street, metered parking at various locations.  Most spots are for two or three hours.  Please make sure that you give yourself enough time or you could end up with a ticket.

We hope to see you this Saturday!

On Behalf of the Foundation Board,
Teri Adams
