We hope you're enjoying this continuing peek into our journey through Spain and Portugal.
We're traveling with 36 other Americans on a Tauk (Pronounced "talc," like the powder) Tour. Tauk is one of the largest and most successful offerers of tours throughout the world and it's been said that once you travel with Tauk you'll never use another tour group.
A Tauk guide is with us throughout the journey and everything is arranged for us -- hotels, most meals, all touring, all transportation and baggage handling, all admissions to special attractions along the way, specialized guides at every venue -- everything.
And Tauk also gives you plenty of free time to roam on your own and mingle with the locals wherever you travel. Plus, because all of the burdensome details are handled by Tauk, you've got more time to relax and enjoy the places you visit. On top of all that, you meet lots of people who are part of your tour group including many knowledgeable and experienced travelers.
Tauk is simply a great way to see the world and it's a cut above the other globe-trotting tour groups because it gives you entree to many of the worlds best hotels, restaurants and even undiscovered gems.
And yes, we use local travel agents to book our travel because it costs no more than it otherwise would and it saves lots of time and aggravation. A good travel agent is priceless. But, more about that later.
For now, enjoy some of our favorite photos from our trip so far.
