Cherry Hill’s two mile avenue of blossoming cherry trees are expected to arrive toward the last two weeks of April. This spectacular display is not-to-be-missed!
A beautiful cherry blossom vision exist along a two-mile section of continuous rows of cherry trees in along Chapel Avenue in South Jersey. The dazzling line of trees extends from Haddonfield Road to Kings Highway.
This “special” avenue was solely created to unify the diverse community of Cherry Hill! It was to be an annual catalyst to call on the townspeople to come together in a proud community-wide celebration of the many fine attributes of the people, organizations, schools and businesses of the township. The "idealistic vision” of one man (Joe Zanghi) to unify and celebrate the community of Cherry Hill with the arrival of the cherry blossoms has never really come to full fruition - - but Joe's still trying and the blossoms just get more and more lush and vibrant every year as the trees form a lustrous canopy along both sides of the road.
It's hard to figure out what's more fun -- driving through the tree-lined spectacle or walking under the trees along the sidewalk. Try both!
