Big Flyers Party Friday Will Countdown To Puck Drop

XFINITY Live! Philadelphia will celebrate the start of the 2012-13 National Hockey League season with a Flyers Countdown to Puck Drop Party on Friday, January 18 from 8 p.m. until midnight. The party features a live band and drink specials for all fans wearing orange and black.

WMMR’s Jaxon will lead a Pep Rally at 9 p.m. which will include pre-taped message to fans attending the party from Flyers forward Max Talbot. The MMaRmy will be on hand to lead contests with prizes, including tickets to an upcoming Flyers game. Flyers Ice Girls will greet fans and lead T-shirt tosses during the party. Must be 21 years of age to party.

Doors to XFINITY Live! Open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 19 when the Flyers host the Pittsburgh Penguins in a nationally-televised game on NBC beginning at 3 p.m.

XFINITY Live! will host a one-of-a-kind viewing experience for those who chose to watch the game on the 32-foot High Definition screen, featuring live look-in's at the WellsFargo Center, Flyers player introductions, and Lauren Hart performing God Bless America. Fans watching the game at XFINITY Live! will also have a chance win tickets to the game that day and contests to win XFINITY Live! gift cards.

The weekend long celebration of hockey continues during the Flyers first road game of the season on Sunday, January 20, when the Flyers face off against the Buffalo Sabres at 12:30 p.m.
