Dinosaur National Monument: A Must-See Adventure!

Continuing on our journey west, today we visited Dinosaur National Monument in Utah which is part of the national park system.
Did you know that dinosaurs once roamed our land?
They did!
And their fantastic remains are still visible embedded in the rocks at Dinosaur National Monument. Today, the mountains, desert and untamed rivers flowing in deep canyons, support an array of life. Petroglyphs hint at earlier cultures. Later, homesteaders and outlaws found refuge at Dinosaur.
Whether your passion is science, adventure, history or scenery, Dinosaur offers much to explore.
And, by all means you will want to take the kids along. They'll love seeing this veritable feast of dinosaur remains.
In fact, you can actually touch the dinosaur bones and the exhibits are quite interactive. There are great trails and recreational activities as well as a beautiful new visitors' center at Dinosaur.
Lots to see and do!
