Out On The Open Road: Exploring Colorado

Our meals at Carl's Tavern in Steamboat (above and below).

Yes, we're on the road again.
We can't help it. We need to keep moving; keep seeing; keep learning; keep exploring.
This time we're traveling through Colorado and on this first day we've been mostly in Steamboat Springs, not too far from Denver.
It's a great time of the year to be in Colorado -- no crowds and plenty of color.
We ate at Carl's Tavern on Yampa Ave. in Steamboat tonight and enjoyed the delicious pulled pork and chicken salad (see above). Carl's is good food, good value and fine service in a lovely setting right in the heart of this picturesque town. We recommend it.
We'll keep you posted in the days ahead as we make our way through some fascinating spots.
