Barbara Buono recently gave a speech to the New Jersey Federation of Democratic Women, Save Jerseyans, and in this excerpted video of her remarks, you can clearly see a candidate who is quickly losing patience with her polling position.
Can’t blame her there! Notwithstanding the fact that she’s done little to improve it… but that’s a post for another day.
Class warfare, personal attacks and a cute little remark about Governor Chris Christie’s weight at the end of the clip; that’s what this year’s Democrat gubernatorial effort has been reduced to, folks:
It’s worth noting, Senator, how recent photos of Governor Christie indicate he’s starting to drop some poundage. You can see it in his face. In fact, I’m willing to bet that he’s losing weight faster than you’re gaining polling points! So please go ahead and make fat jokes if it gets a rise out of the handful of hearty souls at each of your events. We wouldn’t want to take that from you, too…
