New Jersey State Senator Joe Pennacchio (R-26) said that the third day of the State shutdown caused by New Jersey Democrats has brought more pain for residents of the Garden State.
Pennacchio notes that the shutdown is the result of a split by legislative Democrats on the budget they proposed.
“Let’s be clear, the Democratic Legislature couldn’t get enough votes to pass a Democratic budget,” said Pennacchio. “This Democratic infighting is the reason the State is shut down, just like last time during the Corzine Administration. For the taxes they pay, the people of New Jersey deserve better. This is no way to run a government.”
