This is a stunner: South Jersey Congressman Rob Andrews is resigning from Congress after 24 years to take a job with a Philadelphia law firm, according to numerous reports.
Andrews will leave Congress as soon as possible -- reportedly sometime around Presidents Day.
Andrews has scheduled an announcement at 11:30 am today at his district office in Haddon Heights.
Andrews, 56 has been under investigation by the House for possible ethics violations and his legal defense fees have reportedly cost his campaign $200,000 thus far.
Reports say that Andrews will do "public affairs work" at the law firm.
