WOW! A New Milestone And A Seven Year High!

The government jobs report for October showed the hurricane-hit U.S. economy rebounding strongly, with the unemployment rate down now to 4.1%, the lowest level since 2000. No wonder that confidence in the job market has risen to a new high.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 39% of American Adults now believe the job market is better than it was a year ago. That’s up from 35% in May and the highest level of confidence in regular surveying since early 2010. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 1,000 American Adults was conducted on November 5-6, 2017 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
