Famed Le Bec Fin To Reopen As Avance

Two-star Michelin Chef Justin Bogle announced today that he will be opening a progressive American restaurant at 1523 Walnut street (formerly Le Bec Fin).

The new space, named Avance, will feature locally sourced ingredients prepared using both classic and modern techniques. Returning to his home town, Bogle sees this as the moment to bring this cuisine to diners with an appetite for exploration and a taste for new experiences.

“This project is a dream come true for me,” said Bogle. “The menu will feature inventive plating presentations and unique ingredients. We are determined to create a Philadelphia experience like no other.”

A tasting menu will be the feature with an a la carte menu available. The downstairs bar will be re-invented completely, with a spirits driven beverage program and a bar menu to match. Diners can expect a diverse wine and cocktail list that is designed to fit every palate.
