United States and Republic of Korea Stand Unified in Denuclearizing North Korea
Last night in Seoul, President Trump delivered remarks to the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea to address the security challenges presented by North Korea.
“The time for excuses is over. Now is the time for strength. If you want peace, you must stand strong at all times. The world cannot tolerate the menace of a rogue regime that threatens with nuclear devastation.
All responsible nations must join forces to isolate the brutal regime of North Korea -- to deny it and any form -- any form of it. You cannot support, you cannot supply, you cannot accept. We call on every nation, including China and Russia, to fully implement U.N. Security Council resolutions, downgrade diplomatic relations with the regime, and sever all ties of trade and technology.
It is our responsibility and our duty to confront this danger together -- because the longer we wait, the greater the danger grows, and the fewer the options become. And to those nations that choose to ignore this threat, or, worse still, to enable it, the weight of this crisis is on your conscience,” said the President.

First Lady Melania Trump Kicks Off Campaign for Girls in Republic of Korea
This week, in Seoul, Republic of Korea, First Lady Melania Trump helped kick off the United States Embassy’s “Girls Play 2!” campaign, which is a program that garners support for the 2018 Winter Olympics and encourages girls’ increased participation in sports. President Moon and Mrs. Kim warmly welcomed President Trump and Mrs. Trump to the Blue House, where the First Ladies participated in tea and a friendship walk before their husbands’ joint press conference. The evening ended with a state banquet at the Blue House.
On her second day in Seoul, Mrs. Trump greeted employees at the U.S. Embassy, then accompanied her husband to his speech at the National Assembly and a wreath laying ceremony at the National Cemetery. “I was honored by the warm welcome we received in the Republic of Korea,” First Lady Melania Trump said. “I very much enjoyed the conversations I had with Mrs. Kim and was impressed by the children I had the opportunity to meet. I look forward to continuing this friendship and extend my continued support to the people of the Republic of Korea.”

Vice President Mike Pence penned an op-ed in USA Today celebrating one year since President Donald Trump’s historic election on November 8, 2017. “It’s been a year of action. It’s been a year of results. And it’s been a year that will be remembered as the time we began to Make America Great Again,” the Vice President wrote, surveying the numerous accomplishments of the Trump Administration so far.

Today, President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will participate in a welcome ceremony with President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China and Madame Peng Liyuan. Then, President Trump will participate in bilateral meetings with President Xi, followed by a business event, and a joint press statement. President Trump will then meet with Premier Li Keqiang of the People’s Republic of China. Later, President Trump and the First Lady will participate in an embassy meet and greet, attend a state dinner, and view a cultural performance.Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence are traveling to San Antonio, Texas. There, the Vice President and Second Lady, joined by Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX), will visit victims of the First Baptist Church shooting at a local hospital. The Vice President will then participate in a briefing with local law enforcement officials in Sutherland Springs, Texas. In the evening, the Vice President and Second Lady will meet with the families of the victims and participate in a prayer vigil honoring those who lost their lives in the First Baptist Church shooting.
