The last week we saw two people with fame and fortune take their own lives. Very sad,
and well reported stories.
When I read the articles, they talked about all the accomplishments, awards, status, wealth, and stature achieved.
Nowhere did I read the word LOVE.
Our society and culture put so much emphasis on achieving material things, and yet we all aspire and need spiritual peace. Serenity.
Even atheists want to be loved.
We cannot live without Love.
Try as we might, that empty spot in our hearts can only be filled with God’s love and family’s love.
St. Paul wrote these famous words. Maybe this might help others who are going thru a hard time.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
A wide ranging commentary and dialogue on the media, politics, today's headlines and the popular culture. Always fresh and new every day! Now celebrating our second decade and more than six million page views. Nationally recognized, widely quoted, newsworthy and noteworthy.
