Kinky Boots has won the award for Best Choreography. And the dancing in the show is fantastic.
Now Neil's singing with the fella who starred in Book of Mormon. And now other Broadway players have joined in singing familiar tunes with new words -- all about being bitter because you're weren't (or aren't) in a hit TV show or Broadway show.
All in all it's a winner. Very clever.
Now Anna Kendrick and Cuba Gooding, Jr. come to present the award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Cuba Gooding flubs his lines until he puts his glasses on.
The award - to no one's surprise - goes to Andrea Martin for Pippin.
But Andrea Martin totally flubs her acceptance speech and rambles on making very little sense except she does say how fortunate she is (a woman of her age) to be held up by guys on a stage who do not drop her. She has to be removed. She went on too long.
