Potito's: South Philly's Best Now In Center City!
On Thursday evening we attended a welcoming party at Potito's Bakery's new store on Walnut & Juniper Sts. in center city Philadelphia. We enjoyed champagne and, or course, Potito's marvelous pastries.
This new store and cafe is beautiful and the staff is friendly, well-informed and helpful.
Potitio's originated in South Philadelphia (it's still at 16th & Ritner) and has just opened yet another store on Central Ave. in North Wildwood (downashore, hon). Potito's is real Italian pastry from the heart of South Philly, so you know it's good.
Potito's cannolis have been voted best of Philly and the bakery itself has won the South Philadelphia Review Readers Choice Award.
Just look at the photos above. Potito's cakes, pastries, cannolis, cupcakes, sticky buns and specialty items are absolutely extraordinary. And let's not forget their zeppolis, biscotti and cookies. Magnifico!
What a joy it is to have a Potito's in center city.
Stop by for cannoli or biscotti and espresso. Then, take a bunch of goodies home with you!
