Best Scenic Design of a Musical goes to Matilda. The same award for a Play goes to The Nance.
Now, Patti LuPone comes on to give the award for Best Revival of a Musical. And the winner here is (to no one's surprise) Pippin. This is another one that we predicted and (like the other ones) it has about 100 producers, all of whom come up for the award. Pippin is certainly having a Very Big Night!
Finally, it's time for the big one - Best Musical.
BTW; The show seems to be running almost right on time. If only the Oscars could achieve this level or punctuality.
And now, Bernadette Peters (WowWowWow - she's gorgeous!) presents the award to . . . . KINKY BOOTS! This is the year's Best Musical!
So, we predicted every one of the major winners: Best Play, Best Musical, Best Play Revival, Best Musical Revival. Not bad, huh?
