The Senate 'Is Utterly Without Jurisdiction'
"The Senate is utterly without jurisdiction to try Donald Trump." - Former solicitor general of the United States, Ken Starr https://t.co/xKX6QSa1pI

Kean Will Not Seek Re-Election, But What's Next?
“Public service will always be a part of who I am and how I live my life, but after thoughtful discussion with my family, I have decided not to seek re-election for the State Senate in the 21st legislative district,” said Kean. “It has been an honor to serve these communities and I will always cherish the countless friendships and memories we have made together. I am committed to continuing a bipartisan approach as a leader throughout the remainder of this term and will work every day to deliver solutions for my constituents.”
In 2001, Kean was elected to the New Jersey General Assembly, where he quickly developed a reputation as a leader in ethics reform. Two years later, Kean was named to the upper house of the state legislature.
Senator Kean was nominated and selected for the inaugural class of the Rodel Fellowship program by The Aspen Institute, where he finished a fellowship program for young public officials focused on ethics and responsibilities of public leadership. Kean was named one of only 40 state leaders from the entire nation to be recognized as a Toll Fellow by the Council of State Governments for high achievement and service to state government.
In 2008, his peers unanimously elected him Senate Republican Leader. During his time in the state legislature, Kean has focused on long-term strategies for an affordable state and growing our way to a better future. He has been a champion of job creation, finding innovative solutions to grow our economy, protecting animals and clean air, and providing support for the disabled community.
Note: It is widely expected that Senator Kean will once again seek election to Congress, contesting a deat he lost by only a slim margin last year.
Well, That Was Then . . . This Is Now . . .
Kerry Is INFAMOUS For 'Undermining Israel!'
Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) President Morton A. Klein and Chair Mark Levenson, Esq. released the following statement:
The ZOA opposes President Joe Biden “Special Presidential Envoy for Climate” appointee John Kerry. Kerry is yet another dangerous anti-Israel, pro-Iran appointee in the new administration’s deeply worrisome “National Security” team. Kerry is infamous for appeasing Iran, undermining Israel, threatening and sabotaging Israel, and repeatedly “getting it wrong” on foreign policy during his tenure as Secretary of State during the Obama administration.
For instance:
Kerry Appeases Iran:
Kerry defended and lied about the disastrous Iran deal at the Democratic National Convention in August 2021. At the DNC, Kerry falsely stated that the Obama-Biden Iran deal “eliminated the threat of an Iran with a nuclear weapon.” In fact, the Iran deal placed roadblocks including: lengthy delays on the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency)’s ability to inspect suspected Iranian nuclear facilities; provided short expiration dates on the restrictions on Iran that we are now running up against; permitted Iran to continue industrial-scale enrichment and advanced centrifuge development activities; suspended the sanctions regime; and paved Iran’s way to developing a nuclear bomb.
Moreover, the $150 billion of sanctions relief that the Iran deal provided to Iran enabled the Islamic Republic of Iran to increase its terror activities, and increase its military expenditures by 30%, to a record high. By contrast, President Trump’s maximum pressure sanctions directly caused Iran to decrease its military budget by nearly 25% in 2019. The U.S. State Department reported that the re-imposition of sanctions caused Iranian “regime’s terrorist proxies and partners beg for cash, and have been forced to take austerity measures, even furloughing some terrorist fighters.” (See “The Importance of Sanctions on Iran,” by Sec’y of State Michael R. Pompeo, Nov. 18, 2020.)
Kerry Supported Blocking Middle East Peace to Cater to the Intransigent Palestinian Arab Terror Regime: In 2016, Kerry insisted: “There will be no advance and separate peace between Israel and the Arab world, without the Palestinian process and Palestinian peace. Everybody needs to understand that. That is a hard reality.” (video) The Abraham Accords proved Kerry completely wrong.
Kerry Helped Pass and Defended the Most Anti-Israel UN Resolution in History:Kerry was also involved in passing vile anti-Israel United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334 on December 23, 2016. UNSC Res. 2334, orchestrated by the lame duck Obama administration, even considers the Western Wall to be “occupied Palestinian territory,” and calls Jewish homes “a flagrant violation under international law”. (See “ZOA Condemns Obama/Kerry/Power For Enabling Passage of Anti-Semitic Ethnic Cleansing Anti-Israel UN Res Denying Jewish Rights to Live in Jerusalem/Judea/Samaria,” Dec. 23, 2016.)
Kerry’s Infamous Anti-Israel Tirade: A few days later, on December 28, 2016, in a disgraceful, lengthy anti-Israel tirade (transcript), Kerry supported anti-Israel UN actions, including UNSC Resolution 2334; railed against Israeli “occupation” (of lands Israel is lawfully entitled to); condemned “settlements” (Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria); condemned Jewish population growth (maybe Jews aren’t allowed to have babies?); called for “significantly easing” Gaza movement restrictions (the Gaza weapons blockade); distorted history; cited the Arab description of Israel’s rebirth as the “Nakba” (catastrophe). See “ZOA: Kerry’s Speech Ignored the Facts and Endangers Israel’s Safety and Security,” Dec. 28, 2016.)
Numerous Democrats and Republicans condemned Kerry’s speech, and Congress passed a resolution condemning UNSC Res. 2334. (See “ZOA Praises Congress Condemning UNSC Resolution 2334 and Kerry Speech,” Jan. 6, 2017.)
Kerry Continues to Absurdly Claim Palestinian Arabs are Committed to Non-Violence: Further, in 2017, in the midst of the recent wave of Palestinian Arab murders of innocent Jews, instigated by the Palestinian Authority’s incitement and pay-to-slay incentives, Kerry ludicrously asserted: “The Palestinians have done an extraordinary job of remaining committed to nonviolence.”
In sum, Israelophobe and Iran-apologist John Kerry does not belong on the Biden administration’s national security team.

Schoen, Castor To Head Trump Legal Team
President Donald J. Trump announced that highly respected trial lawyers David Schoen and Bruce L. Castor, Jr., will head his impeachment defense legal team, bringing national profiles and significant trial experience in high-profile cases to the effort.
Notably, Schoen has already been working with the 45th President and other advisors to prepare for the upcoming trial, and both Schoen and Castor agree that this impeachment is unconstitutional - a fact 45 Senators voted in agreement with last week.
“It is an honor to represent the 45th President, Donald J. Trump, and the United States Constitution,” said Schoen.
Castor added, “I consider it a privilege to represent the 45th President. The strength of our Constitution is about to be tested like never before in our history. It is strong and resilient. A document written for the ages, and it will triumph over partisanship yet again, and always.”
Bios for both attorneys follow:
David Schoen is a seasoned trial attorney who has served as lead counsel in several high-profile matters. In 1995, the American Bar Association honored his work with its National Pro Bono Publico Award. According to several federal judges interviewed in connection with his nomination for the award, Mr. Schoen’s litigation was responsible for more change in public institutions in the South, including prisons, jails, public education, foster care, indigent defense and others, than the work of any other lawyer in this era. Mr. Schoen is also the recipient of the Hon. David S. Nelson Public Interest Award. More recently, Mr. Schoen represented victims of terrorism under the Anti-Terrorism Act, traveling overseas to take the depositions of some arch terrorists and otherwise seeking to hold accountable those who provide material support for terrorism against Americans. Today, Mr. Schoen practices law all around the country, focusing on civil rights litigation in Alabama and federal criminal defense work, including white collar and other complex cases, in New York. Mr. Schoen is the chair of the ABA's Criminal Justice Subcommittee of the Civil Rights Litigation Committee. Mr. Schoen holds a LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School and has taught as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall Law School.
Bruce L. Castor, Jr., is the former District Attorney of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, serving in that role from 2000 to 2008. Mr. Castor was later twice-elected Commissioner of Montgomery County and assumed that office on January 7, 2008, concentrating on Public Safety and related matters building on his career in law enforcement. Mr. Castor also served as Solicitor General and acting Attorney General of Pennsylvania. In 1995, he received the Trial Advocacy Award from the National Association of Government Attorneys for his work investigating and prosecuting homicides. He received state-wide recognition for his efforts by the Pennsylvania General Assembly on two occasions. Mr. Castor has been granted many honors throughout his career, including being named a “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer” by Philadelphia Magazine from 2005 to 2008 and 2011 to present. He has also been recognized as among the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America from 2012 to present. He was inducted into the Pennsylvania Police Hall of Fame in 2007, a rare honor for a prosecutor. In 2009, Mr. Castor was chosen by his peers as a Fellow (later elevated to Senior Fellow) of the Litigation Counsel of America, the national trial lawyer honor society, and eventually appointed a member of Elite American Lawyers, and of the National Academy of Jurisprudence. Mr. Castor is a member of the bar of Pennsylvania, The United States Supreme Court, The Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, and the Federal District Courts for the Eastern District and the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Castor received his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College and his law degree from Washington and Lee University, where he received the only graduation prize awarded for criminal law from the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Lewis F. Powell. He has received advanced education from the National College of District Attorneys and at the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. |
