On Nearly Every Front, Joizee Completely Tanks!
With stats like this and a complacent (to put it kindly) electorate that keeps electing scoundrels again and again, you have to wonder if there's any hope for Joizee at all -- especially if you've been here as long as we have and you've witnessed mostly year after year of this.
This much we can promise you -- we will not peddle false hope here. We tell it like it is. And, quite frankly, folks -- we've almost never seen it grimmer. The saddest part? Few seem to genuinely give a damn.

A Wake Up Call In NJ? Don't Bet On It!
And, at least hundreds of these illegals have apparently already voted.
On top of that, the US Department of Homeland Security says that more than 35,000 non-citizens registered to vote in New Jersey and these are just the ones they know about. Imagine! All this while the State of New Jersey spent years telling us that the voting rolls were totally legit, devoid of any irregularities and squeaky clean.
Now, you'd have to agree that even one illegal vote is one too many and that it disenfranchises a legal vote -- a vote from some weary, overwhelmed New Jersey taxpayer (and there are legions of us) who plays by the rules.
New Jersey Republicans (such as they are) are justifiably outraged and are rightly demanding that the MotorVoter program be suspended if not downright sunsetted. And they are also insisting upon a complete and thorough independent audit and investigation. Good for them -- and they should not let up on this.
But, will any of this actually happen?
I doubt it.
Why?
First, because Republicans currently are a very distinct minority in the state -- as small a contingent as I could ever remember. They don't control any branch of government, and it's not even close.
Second (and correspondingly) Democrats predominate and routinely display the unbridled arrogance of power. They seemingly feel accountable to no one. They willingly ram through whatever budgets, taxes, regulations or onerous pieces of legislation they have in mind. And, they're enabled and encouraged by a brazenly partisan governor who has hallucinatory national political aspirations.
Third, there is no objective statewide media to speak of in New Jersey. Whatever pitiful collection of media, academia, and popular culture that exists in the state is relentlessly left-leaning. So forget about a fair accounting, let alone the truth.
Fourth, New Jersey's veritable one-party stranglehold has bred an inbred culture of corruption with endless tentacles and very deep roots. Case in point: in my lifetime, two United States senators from New Jersey have gone to jail. In fact, in the last half century, over 150 elected and appointed New Jersey public officials (the vast majority of them Democrats) have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to corruption and sentenced to prison terms.
Finally, the voters of New Jersey have apparently resigned themselves to this pattern of corruption, mismanagement, duplicity, mendacity and condescension. In fact, by all accounts they at least tacitly approve of it since they continue to elect Democrats and have even elected and re-elected the Democrat son of the one of the most disgraced and corrupt US Senators in history. Mind you, this is the norm in New Jersey, not the exception! This kind of thing has happened again and again.
Back to the latest imbroglio.
Will anything really be done about it? Will there be an investigation? An audit? An independent accounting? I certainly hope so. And I'll never say never.
But I'm not betting on it.
Sadly, I'm not sure all of this is even on the radar of the typical New Jersey voter and, in the end, it will ultimately be up to the voters to compel positive action. How I wish I could say otherwise but I have to give it to you straight, folks.
What a sorry, sorry mess!

NJ Senate GOP Leader: Suspend MotoVote Program
New Jersey State Senate Republican Leader Anthony M. Bucco (R-Morris, Passaic) released the following statement regarding today’s announcement by Governor Sherrill that approximately 6,600 non-citizens were registered to vote and approximately 400 non-citizens voted.
The news that approximately 6,600 non-citizens were identified on New Jersey's voter rolls following a Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) software error raises serious concerns that demand a transparent and independent investigation. The fact that New Jersey has been allowing undocumented immigrants to obtain a driver’s license since 2020 requires the investigation be extended at least from the onset of this law, if not longer.
This situation underscores the consequences of policy decisions that Republicans warned about from the beginning. Over six years ago, Trenton Democrats chose to allow undocumented immigrants to obtain driver's licenses despite our opposition, and they placed voter registration in the hands of the MVC—an agency with a long history of administrative failures.
While New Jersey's elections include safeguards, errors like this undermine public confidence and provide those who seek to cast doubt on our election system with more ammunition. That is why it is essential that we determine exactly how this happened, and what steps are being taken to ensure it cannot happen again.
At the very least, New Jersey should immediately suspend its automatic voter registration program until the investigation is complete and state officials publicly announce their findings, corrective actions, and next steps. It is also time for New Jersey to enact a voter identification requirement. Polling has consistently shown that voter ID enjoys broad bipartisan support because it is a commonsense measure that can strengthen confidence in our elections while protecting the integrity of the voting process.
"We will await the results of the investigation, but New Jersey residents deserve assurance that our voter registration system is accurate, secure, and worthy of their trust."
State Senator: Suspend NJ MotoVoter Reg NOW!
New Jersey State Senator Declan O’Scanlon (R-Monmouth) is calling on the Sherrill Administration to suspend voter registrations at the NJMVC and for investigators to look beyond 2023 to check the last ten years of registrations after more than 6,000 non-citizens were automatically registered to vote when applying for a driver’s license in 2023 and 2024.
New Jersey Globe reported that hundreds of these non-citizens voted in elections.
“Despite assurances from the Murphy Administration and Trenton Democrats that this could never happen, it happened, and it’s worse than anyone expected. If we know that more than 6,000 non-citizens were improperly registered to vote over two years, why on earth would we stop the investigation there? This system has been in place for years. We should be reviewing every registration processed through the MVC over the last decade. If the system was broken in 2023 and 2024, New Jerseyans deserve to know whether it was broken in any other year up until present day. Until that thorough investigation is complete, the MVC should suspend all voter registrations.
“It is a shocking and outrageous revelation that it’s not only possible, but actually happened, that our Motor Vehicle Commission software AUTOMATICALLY registered people to vote who are constitutionally ineligible to register or vote! Republicans have raised concerns about the MVC systems for years. Each time we were reassured that this ‘could never happen.’ Ooops!
“What’s equally troubling is that these are only the cases where non-citizens correctly indicated that they were not citizens and were still registered anyway. That should alarm everyone. If the system failed when applicants answered honestly, what safeguards exist to prevent non-citizens from mistakenly checking the wrong box or knowingly claiming citizenship and being registered to vote.
“And let’s discuss the victims here, other than in the integrity of our voter rolls. Those folks who were automatically registered, many of them not aware of the laws and rules of our system, received sample ballots….inviting them to vote and to commit a federal crime! Essentially the government telling them they are eligible. The ramifications are mind boggling.
“When Trenton Democrats made it law for non-citizens to obtain driver’s licenses, Republicans warned that this very problem could occur. There is no better time than now to enact voter identification requirements to provide one more layer of protection to ensure only eligible voters are casting ballots.”
