Jeff Zucker, a world-class sleazebag who has headed ratings and real-news-challenged CNN for far too long, has been terminated for numerous reasons, but predominantly because CNN has lost its way with viewers and everybody else. Now is a chance to put Fake News in the backseat because there may not be anything more important than straightening out the horrendous LameStream Media in our Country, and in the case of CNN, throughout the World. Jeff Zucker is gone—congratulations to all!

Worker Shortages: Murphy Is Still Clueless!

New Jersey State Senator Anthony M. Bucco said Governor Phil Murphy still has no plan to address worker shortages that are almost certain to impact hospitals, long-term care facilities, and prisons as a result of his stricter vaccine mandate.

“As soon as Governor Murphy announced that he was mandating vaccinations and taking away the testing option for health care professionals and workers in congregate living facilities, we warned that staffing shortages were an almost certain outcome that he should have a plan to address,” said Bucco (R-25). “Our warnings were prescient, as nurses, nursing homes, and corrections offices have all echoed our concerns and warned of a looming disaster. Still, Governor Murphy has no plan.”

On January 19, Governor Murphy announced Executive Order No. 283, which requires workers at health care facilities and high-risk congregate settings to be up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations and mandatory boosters.

All covered workers will be required to be vaccinated and boosted and will no longer be permitted to submit to testing as an alternative to vaccination, except in limited situations.

“Taking away the testing option will be the final straw for many workers who have given everything and complied with all of the nonsensical mandates since the start of the pandemic nearly two years ago,” said Bucco. “The only person who doesn’t seem to recognize that doctors, nurses, and other caregivers are at their breaking point is Governor Murphy.”

Individual nurses who are tired of the Governor’s mandates have said they are ready to quit, while the largest nurses union in the state say the mandate will exacerbate a critical worker shortage, according to NJ.com.

Similarly, NorthJersey.com has reported serious concerns of family members and the operators of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes for people with developmental disabilities, who have warned that they’re already facing an “insane” labor shortage that will be made worse due to Governor Murphy’s vaccine mandate.

Meanwhile, the New Jersey State PBA, which represents corrections officers in state prisons, is taking the Murphy administration to court to have the order struck down.

As NJ 101.5 reported, the PBA says the testing option has worked to keep prisons and jails “as safe as possible,” while increasing reliance on vaccinations isn’t supported by the science which demonstrates that vaccines “have been ineffective at stopping the transmission” of the Omicron variant.

“Governor Murphy doesn’t know better than the experts in all of these industries who issued warning after warning about his mandates, but he thinks he does,” added Bucco. “As we’ve learned during the pandemic, the governor’s refusal to listen to others is a recipe disaster.”

NO Same Day Voter Registration For NJ!

New Jersey State Assemblymembers Vicky Flynn and Gerry Scharfenberger (LD13 – R’s) are speaking out against the introduction of Senate bill S247, a piece of legislation that if passed would fundamentally change voter registration requirements by allowing potential voters to show up on Election Day and register to vote on top of other drastic reductions to registration requirements which will undermine the integrity of the election process and wreak havoc at the polls on Election Day.  

While other states look to impose measures to enhance the security and reliability of elections, NJ Democrats seem intent upon loosening measures that contribute to the integrity of the election process. Furthermore, not only is the bill philosophically and logistically problematic, S247 comes with a hefty price tag on the heels of the financial costs imposed by Governor Murphy’s voting mandates over the last few election cycles:

 

“This bill imposes yet another financial burden upon NJ Taxpayers without any justifiable reason, which is unfair after the additional costs imposed by Trenton on counties with early voting,“ Assemblywoman Flynn denoted. “Having enough poll workers to manage polling locations on Election Day was a challenge. Adding this additional administrative burden upon poll workers would be unfair. Like early voting, there appears to have been no effort to engage the local county election officials to evaluate the financial and administrative burden associated with implementing this proposal.”

 

“The proposal for same day voter registration would be catastrophic in maintaining the integrity of our already overburdened election system,” stated Assemblyman Scharfenberger. “There is simply no reason for same-day registration when registrations can be had any time of the year online and in-person. Our election system is too important to consistently create the potential for fraud that bills such as this would enable.”

 

Making matters worse is the blatant hypocrisy by Democrats. This bill would require voters to present identification to register on Election Day to deter fraud. Yet, Democrats largely deny fraud exists in the election system when criticizing Voter ID proposals:

 

“If enacted, it would open the floodgates for individuals to vote who may not legitimately be eligible if given ample time for proper scrutiny,” Assemblyman Scharfenberger decried. “There is no possible way to vet the validity of a voter’s registration application in such a short period of time, it is ludicrous and will likely bring about endless legal challenges in the long-run. This is yet another ludicrous example of what I have been fighting against since day one - I have and will continue to propose legislation that will ensure security of our voting rights.”

 

“To suggest that this bill is anything other than pandering on a national Democrat political platform that seeks to remove stability and integrity within our voting system would be a vast understatement,” said Assemblywomen Flynn. “This State provides multiple forums by which voters can register to vote. There is no indication same day voting is necessary here in NJ, especially to warrant the financial burden associated with this proposal. S247 only serves to dilute those protections already in place to ensure integrity in elections.”

Whoopi Goldberg: Arrogant, Ignorant, A Shameless Embarassment!

There it is, right there. Whoopi Goldberg says the Holocaust "isn't about race".

She's trying to backtrack now but she's only issued a somewhat tepid apology expressing her "regret" and admitting she was "wrong". She also says she's sorry people misunderstood her comments. What? What's not to understand?

Her comments are arrogant and grossly ignorant. And ABC is correct to at least suspend her for two weeks.

The Holocaust constituted the mass annihilation of an entire race of people using the tools of manufacturing on a scale heretofore unknown. It was mass manufactured murder! And yes, it was devised by racists -- racists who specifically identified Jewish people as an inferior, disposable race. If Whoopi had any shame at all, she'd be ashamed of herself. This is disgusting!

I've been to Auschwitz. I walked through the concentration camp. I saw where and how the horrors we're carried out. Assembly line murder? No, it was even worse than that. People were treated like freight -- actually treated worse than animals sent to slaughter. And they were annihilated simultaneously in huge numbers. The horror of it is still there for everyone to see. 

And no, it is not appropriate to compare the Holocaust to anything else -- ever!

In terms of sheer evil on such a horrific scale, it sadly stands alone!

How outrageous that now, more than 80 years later, we're still having to explain all of this!

Here's an interesting addendum: Whoopi was discovered and given her first big break in show business by famed producer Mike Nichols, a German Jew who was scuttled out of Germany as a child in 1939, sparing him the horrors of the Holocaust. Nichols spent the rest of his life guild-ridden wondering why he survived as others perished. His only solace was comedy. This is the man who "made" Whoopi Goldberg!
