Support For Gun Control Jumps In Poll

Support for gun control has risen in the aftermath of the shooting that killed six people at a Christian school in Nashville this week.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 51% of likely U.S. voters believe stricter gun control laws would help prevent shootings like the recent one in Nashville. Forty-two percent (42%) disagree. Last May, after a teenage gunman killed 10 people at a Buffalo supermarket, only 40% of voters said stricter gun control would help prevent such shootings.
