'A Complete Lack Of Leadership . . . '

Pennsylvania Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Jeff Bartos issued a statement calling out Democrat candidates for U.S. Senate Conor Lamb and John Fetterman for their deafening silence on the fall of Afghanistan. Bartos said it shows a complete lack of leadership and that Pennsylvanians deserve better than candidates who remain silent in the face of tragedy and put their own political interests ahead of everything.

"Conor Lamb and John Fetterman have been silent regarding the fall of Afghanistan. Joe Biden surrendered Afghanistan to terrorists," said Bartos, "In doing so, he has disrespected the memory of the thousands of Americans who died in Afghanistan. He has stranded thousands of Americans in Afghanistan and has no clear plan to get them out. He has sentenced innocent Afghans to death at the hand of the Taliban. He has sentenced women and young girls to rape, murder, and slavery. And Conor Lamb and John Fetterman don't believe it's worth their time to offer any thoughts on this historic tragedy."

"Pennsylvania deserves better than what they're getting from Conor Lamb and John Fetterman," concluded Bartos, "If we can't trust them to tell us where they stand now, how could we ever trust them to represent us on the floor of the United States Senate? If we can't trust them to call out Joe Biden's incompetence now, how can we ever trust them to stand up to Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and the radical left? It's simple: we can't."

Jeff Bartos has established himself as the clear frontrunner in the race for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate. Not only has Team Bartos (Bartos for US Senate + Jobs For Our Future) raised $3 million, over 5x the next closest competitor, but Bartos' grassroots strength and ground game is unmatched.

Born and raised in Berks County, Jeff Bartos has been a Pennsylvania resident his entire life. Bartos is a small business owner and real estate developer active in the Greater Philadelphia market. Jeff and his wife, Sheryl, have two daughters, Emily and Sarah. Jeff was the Republican nominee for Lt. Governor in 2018, and served as the Board Chair of the Pennsylvania 30 Day Fund, a non-profit saving small businesses in Pennsylvania, until February of 2021.
